Standard Chartered Hi 🐟, I have got an offer from standard chartered with 30% hike . My current is 20lpa. I am confused if this offer is good to accept ? But I don’t see scb agrees for more than 30% at the same time I could see market is booming and offering hefty packages . Please advise .

For a good doctor, it is acheivable to start a clinic and then turn it into a hospital.
For a s/w engineer, it is tough to create own startup and make it profitable.
For average doc or engineers, yes Engineers get good salaries.
Rising Star
How is that even a question. Once the doctor is a bit established, he earns unlimited money. I know few people earns 4-5 lkh tax free income minimum just by sitting in private chambers. Apart from that they have salary from hospital, some give guest lectures in colleges, some do surgeries, etc and their income has no bounds

How many doctors pay income tax as per their income?
How many doctors loose jobs or retire before turning 50 years of age ?
How many doctors afraid of ression ?
Some software engineers might earn more in short term but in long run doctors are the winner's.
Yes...i agree that
Doctors
Even they can examine females as they direct 😁
Glad you’re not a doctor 🫤
Doctors of course. And if they are good and are in reputed hospitals their earnings are easily in crores. I remember seeing the doctors reserved parking place at one of the Manipal hospital in Bangalore. Damm all cars were either Merc or Bmw or Audi or Rovers lol. That gave me an idea 😂😂

I paid 70K per annum for my BTech Degree, so even when doctors earn more than me, I don't mind it as their investment of time and money is far more than me.
Same here.. Even these days you can directly become software engineers by just doing bootcamp 🤓
Till the time doctors start earning, software engineers gets married and have kids.
Pro
I know a doctor who has a salary of 20 lakh but the hospital pays him 12 lakhs in cash rest deposited in his account just to save tax.
Do you think we engineers will have this kind of exemption.
20 per month or per year?
Doctors.. doctors in small towns/towns once become prominent, they earn like crazzzyy.. i know a someone who now has his own medication company, two hotels, a water part, and a nursing home and planning to open a hotel business and chain of nursing home.. also has number of properties/flats in different cities.... and his based from a city where one of the international heritage place is there ... CRAZY MONEY man! But yes it also depends on luck and skills.. not every doctor can be the prominent one in the city..
Engineering is a job while doctor is a job plus business. Mostly every doctor would have a private clinic as well. Moonlighting clause is not applicable to them.
Very true, and adding to that, job stability is not there. Somewhere a backup is a MUST.
Just check fee structure of mbbs and Btech in private college..
U will get ur answers.
Doctors r earning way more . Reason INSURANCE
unfortunately engineers
Yes.
Doctors anyday. Although there are some engineers who earn crazy more than doctors
U can't even imagine the earnings of doctors...They mint alot 💰💰
Doctors any day...there are very few doctors compared to demand
A reputed cardiologist or a neurology doctor earns nearly 30 crs a year, so obviously a doctor earns way more than a software engineer
Then why doctor are very respected than engineers?
But must of the equipments used by the doctors are made by Engineers!

Politicians
