Cognizant Recently cognizant have changed their internet wfh allowance policy.we use to get 1800 per month as internet allowance without submitting any bills or transaction details. Now they changed the policy as we need to apply for icici/axis/hdfc credit card from there we need to make the transaction and reimburse the same. I am ok with everything but why i need to apply for credit card? How a company can force me to have a credit card? It will directly/indirectly alter the credit score right? Cogniza

Can someone kindly connect me with Investment Banking HR/Recruiter/anyone willing to help? My friend interviewed for Goldman Sachs NY. Cleared the HireVue but didn’t get any communication further. It’s been 4 weeks now. Although the referral came from a VO but the division is different. My friend is looking for Investment Banking division. Need to get in touch with someone from investment banking to push the resume. The rolling process is hurting the chances.Thank you Goldman Sachs

I've been interviewing with some companies, and now I have to decide between JPMorgan Chase and Globant.
Globant is more innovative, and has remote work. I will enter to work with a Sillicon Valley startup based in San Francisco. The tech stack is React, Nextjs, AWS, and a serverless architecture.
JPM is semi remote, and less innovative. The tech stack Java, SpringBoot and AWS. But I'd do more migration tasks, like dockerize projects and pass them to kubernetes. What would you choose?

I didn’t work for them, but two months ago I got an offer from American Airlines which I rejected. They only offer 10 PTO days and they kept going on and on about flight benefits. Can someone explain me where will I fly if I only have 10 PTO days. They kept leveraging the flight benefit perk to justify the lower salary too. I mean a perk is a perk, I still need a good salary.
I work for one of the companies listed and it’s great. I do tons of weekend trips-my first weekend working at the company I went to Amsterdam for the weekend business class. Aviation is definitely underpaid vs other industries but I can say I definitely flew about 50K worth of flights my first year.
Free flights = biiiiig perk
seriously, I know a lot of people who stick around solely for that
I have a friend who did and they got tons of travel credits and perks but that's about it.
I work for one of the airlines mentioned. The culture is great and there are lots of very smart people. If you don’t want to travel don’t waist your time. For me juggling projects is overwhelming but I do love to travel! What do you love?
I’ve been looking at postings but haven’t seen any that make me ready to make a move. Finding a great manager is a top priority if/when I make a move.
Don’t waist your time and skill. Travel perks are nice to have but as a non revenue traveler it is difficult to get on. You never can plan travel and 10 PTO days for the first 5 years are below average. Not to mention the salary. No bonus and no salary increases if you take on job responsibilities of a higher payed grade. They will tell you you will advance etc. All lip service... I fell for it. 100 + internal applications later I have to pick up the pieces and do a 2nd master to get out of aviation. I have 2 BAs and a double master, was forced to do a entry job and when they need you you have to do the job as a project manager without pay increases or title changes. Run.
