Yes. I do not need girl scout cookies, but when they stop by and ask I will box a few boxes. I do not mind and actually enjoy supporting a lemonade stand or a girl scout.

To me, sales still has that “used car salesperson” feel - pushy, need an answer now and totally feels like I need a shower to get rid of the sleaze.
So, when I have a friend selling something or you get a refreshing nice conversation/connection, you want to buy from that person. Old school Mary Kay supporter here because I want them to be encouraged to keep trying the skill.
I’m a minimalist, so I might buy snacks but that’s all. People respect my need to prevent clutter when I tell them.
