Quick qstn - I'm receiving HRA of 24075 from my employer but I would like dhow the rent paid as 96k p.a (while filing ITR). Even if I do so, I was only able to get exemption of 24075 from gross. Checking if we can speak to payroll department to increase Actual HRA since I'm actually paying more rent than compared. Will I be able to do so ?Deloitte Newco EY Accenture Genpact KPMG

For the aspects of the job that I’m troubled by, I would ask clarifying questions. If you ever feel like you cannot be honest about your concern with a position, you need to question whether that particular position is really for you.
This is the right approach
If it’s truly survival mode and you need the income to literally stay afloat, do whatever you can to land a job. It’s easier to find a job when you have a job.
If its not that dire, then I agree with above, ask clarifying questions and really think about if the role, company, etc is right for you if you can't speak, within reason, candidly.
It can be good to seem flexible during the interview, and then you have the real choice in private. Give yourself the option to turn it down if you feel like it isn’t going to work out.
Sometimes outright honesty isn't the best way to go. If you need a job, especially if your opportunities are limited, being agreeable might be the best approach. You can always take the job and keep looking for something better.
