Does anyone feel lonely or isolated at work? I sometimes feel i dont belong here. No complains from work, but i dont seem to connect with my colleagues, they seem to have their own “friends” and i feel im not welcomed. Dont know what to do about it. Should i try to make friends or just ignore,do my job and go home.

I am only 4 months into being a surgical coordinator. I love the position itself however I am struggling to adapt into my new work environment. My position puts me in a place where I need to interact with my new coworkers but they are not as welcoming as I expected. There is also another surgical coordinator however I have come to find from other staff that there is a long history of her running other staff away and not fully training other surgical coordinator staff properly.
