Does anyone have any insight into billable hours and associate salaries at Ballard Spahr in Minneapolis? I've got 4 years of experience, graduated in 2018.

Anyone have a full-time Big 4 offer (JD/LLM) with a signing bonus in Dallas or similar COL? My recruiter says it’s not negotiable but if I know of someone from a competitor with a higher bonus then she can see what she can do.

My company matches 3%. Is that low or on par?

Higher offers at 27-28 with more fixed pay is from contract and hire/fire type companies. Mostly indirect hiring instead of direct employment with the final employer, means higher pay with lower jon security - we get little more pay, companies get the option to let go with ease later!

Like in Dec and March you will see less requirement due to Christmas and financial year ending. Similar what is the best period?

Because in my previous switch, 15 days were wasted due to Christmas and in March lot of requirements went on hold due to financial year ending.

I am working for NetApp Client, Bangalore however My base Location is Hyderabad, and I have heard from a couple of NetApp Employees that they are planning to resume offices by May.

1. If UST is planning to bring employees back to office?
2. If they call will I be asked to relocate to Bangalore as my client's location is Bangalore or will I be working from Hyderabad only?

I feel inadequate and unsure of how or if to acknowledge the US/Buffalo racist murders and terrorism of this weekend in the workplace. And yet we just have our meetings and I guess compartmentalize it away.

So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. I’m a third year interested in retooling from lit to general corp, but they prefer someone with 3+ years of corporate experience. 2020 grad M&A/PE Associate in LCOL area thinking about moving to a ECVC/M&A boutique. I generally like the work I do and the people I work with, but I really don’t like the hours and the constant late nights and weekends. Currently on pace for 2250. Boutique I have been eyeing has billable hour requirement of 1500-1600 and comes with a 20-25% paycut. Is this a stupid idea and should I grind it out until I can move in house? I’ve practiced litigation in DC for about 5+ years at a larger plaintiffs’ firm, and am considering a switch to a defense firm. Is there any insight to how many billable hours this would require, and how much time that would actually be? For reference, the firm has a 1900 billable hour requirement and the partner said I would have “no problem” fulfilling that based on the work they have.
