I just tell myself literally nothing we do matters and it’s worked wonders for me for anxiety and stress
Everything always changes and nothing is set in stone until projects are done, and even then nothing is ever done.

I feel you, but damn, we shouldn't need to resort to pharmaceutical drugs to cope with stress from work. What an absolutely deplorable state we are in.
Doctors. Psychiatrist and psychologist. Go see them before it becomes a burnout.

Stop caring. Realize what you’re doing doesn’t matter, isn’t important.

My work is by far the least meaningful thing I do. Spending time with my friends, sharing my knowledge and skills and time and food with them, learning stuff - all of that is infinitely more rich.
Read the dare response. Do therapy. See a psychiatrist.
Found this inspiring and helpful. Aaron Starkman opens up about anxiety he’s struggled with for most of his life. He didn’t mention what he takes specifically but gets into therapy suggestions

Work as hard as you can and make as many friends as you can… then stop caring about the outcome — because most likely you will get a good book out of doing that. And even if you don’t get a good book, you’ll have a good network. And if your book isn’t abysmal, you’ll be alright.

I don’t disagree. Connections can also create luck for you. Especially if you worked will with them + left a good impression. A kind word from a friend to a hiring manager about how well you work can say a lot IMO. So I stand by my original point.
I microdose shrooms, that’s been a game changer. I also take ashwagandha at night. Also weed, but sometimes that back fires if I get too high and anxiety spiral. I also see a therapist every 3-4 weeks just to keep myself in check.
Exercise, taking breaks, setting boundaries, and practicing mindfulness. Medicines are only a temporary crutch.

You need to see a well recommended psychiatrist and psychologist. Took me until my late 30’s to do this. I’m on a low dose of Zoloft (Setraline) and Buspirone (Buspar) and speak to my psychologist weekly.
I also work out 3-5x a week. And I don’t drink. No alchohol (seriously maybe one or two drinks a year. I’m not an alcoholic, but it’s such a downer for me that not drinking has seriously helped). No coffee, though I do enjoy green tea and lots of water and sativa pot here and there in the evenings to wind down. Sleep is key, but I still stay up way too late watching tv.
All of this has been a solid recipe for a much happier experience.
