I think if you can find the right nanny, it absolutely could be worth it! your list of illnesses alone sounds like It’d be a great way forward. I have an 11 month old and apart from eczema and a few minor viral fevers, he hasn’t been exposed to anything. Wife & I both stay indoors and try to minimize contact with anyone except family
What is it that you would expect to change in 4 months? Your little one may build up their immune system but they will, in all likelihood, still pick up those bugs in daycare once they go back.
I feel you. My kid started nursery at 14 months and the first two months have been hellish so far - we basically take it in turns for being ill.
They say the first year is like this until they build their immune system.
You could take your child out of daycare now, but that's only kicking the can down the road for later.
