I’m not, but I’ve heard other situations where families hired a nanny that lived alone and was self-isolating as well. Daily temp checks from both sides and lots and lots of hand-washing. Seems feasible if you really trust the person you hire. Good luck!
Thank you for responding! I spoke with our ex-nanny who was basically a surrogate parent to my kids and we trust immensely. I think we might go for it with some of those pre-cautionary regimens in place.
We kept our nanny that we have had since I went back to work in fall 2018. I trust that she is being safe when not with my family, as well as when she is watching my son. We don’t do extra precautions, but like I said, we trust her and know that she is a homebody with her family.
We’ve had a nanny come to our home for 1 year now. She takes the CDC rules seriously so we know she’s being cautious
My friend drops off and picks up her child from the nanny every day.
