Trousers are very in style so if you want to avoid wearing a full suit you could pair a cute wide leg trouser with a fun coordinating blazer … I think this can still present very professional but not as rigid as a true matching suit. I would say generally work places and events are more casual than they were even 6 years ago when I was interning … depends on the event, industry and broader culture ofc. As a woman, the last thing you want be is underdressed relative to your male counterparts.
In short, no I don’t wear suits anymore…
Yes I do. I love a wide or straight leg trouser. Though if you hate this idea you could wear a professional dress or skirt with a suit jacket. I stick to a lot of black, dark grey & tan/beige for all these items. Then white and fairly neutral blouses & collared shirts because they are easy to mix and match.
I love them but it’s so hard to find the right fit for the pants
