Does anyone know of any good job options in FL for attorneys who are not licensed in FL? I’m wanting to move back to be closer to my family but I really do not want to take the bar again. I’m currently licensed in MO and doing products liability and trucking litigation through the Midwest. I’ve applied for some in house roles but I’ve only got three years of practice so I’m not sure I’m qualified. Is it possible to find something or will I need to suck it up and take the bar again?

Looking to exit from 195k base to a sales role base 140 + 40 in guaranteed bonus year 1 to make up for the lengthy sales cycle. I know in the long run total comp through equity and sales commission bonus can be much higher but having a hard time making the jump… mostly my ego to drop drastically in TCO the first year after spending all these years trying to increase base. Jr. Associate at an AmLaw 100 firm in Central Florida. Good credentials; top 10% at T14, law review. Sick of private practice bc of hours and pressure. Also, not enjoying the work that Central Florida offers, but want to live here.
