Does anyone know what roles, Meta is willing to hire for remotely in the UK? I had a screening interview with a meta recruiter yesterday for Engineering Manager and was told that all leadership positions need to be hired on site(e.g. London) in hybrid. I am really curious to have at least a year or two in big tech but I am Glasgow based and don't want to move due to family commitments.

Hello there. I have been interviewing with Okta and got through all 5 rounds of interviews. They say they want to offer me the job but there is a global freeze for all marketing roles at the company. They want to offer me a contractor role instead. Does anyone here know if that is the case? I haven't heard anything as they seem be on wellness week. Thanks for any guidance :)

Interviewing for a product designer IC job at Meta, I was told by the recruiters that final panel would be 2 ICs and 1 manager. My schedule has 3 managers, no ICs and no other functions. I asked - told it was just due to scheduling constraints. I think managers just naturally have more experience and more stringent standards (generally). Is this worth asking to set up the more standard panel for me even if it takes longer to schedule? Or is this a non-issue? Just want an equitable experience
