Hey all. I have an interview with an investment bank coming up. I am currently a senior associate at big 4 doing financial due diligence. Can anyone give me interviews tips/what to study? I am very new to the diligence (less than 3 months), so am far from understanding a deal start to finish.

I have got 6 years of experience and I have done MBA in finance. My last company was a Big 4. They are ready to pay me 9L and I require a 100% increment. will they give me 12 L? Should I accept 9 L?

Can someone explain the difference between FB’s Partner Solutions Manager and the Strategic Partner Manager? From an initial recruiter call, it seems the SPM provides the consultative product recs while the PSM onboards the client onto that product and tracks performance to provide actionable recs as needed. Is CMA worth getting after getting the CPA? Or is it better to get the CFA. Also don’t have much finance background so I don’t know if I can pass the CFA will require a lot of hard work. Interesting in hearing people’s thoughts.

We had evaluations and normally we have annual raises. I think my salary is under market value at $68k (plus OT) in Los Angeles (5 years of experience). I was told I am one of the top employees in the firm. When I asked about a raise, I was told “when you think about it at your level 5k to 10k doesn’t really matter it’s the long term goal that matters”. What would be your response to that, to a partner who is making 500-600k a year?
