Does anyone work at a very social first agency? If so, how is it structured?

Ours is very traditional with strategy, creative and production and I think it’s holding us back and weighing us down. I’m interested in hearing about more modern structures that are maybe just a team of social strategists and content creators.

Looking to validate my theory that there are other agencies out there that have shifted their model to truly be more social first. But just curious how they’re set up.

New to this. Is it typical for a firm to ask a staff to do the work of a senior for a year to show that they are ready for a promotion?
