How valid do you think a Myers briggs test is for determining if a career pivot is the right move. I recently took one and the career suggestions from the results seemed to be things I was already thinking about doing anyway which was a pleasant surprise.

What’s base salary for a FAAS Senior Consultant at EY in offices like Atlanta, and what’s the pay difference between a 2nd year and Senior in that role.

Drowning in student debt, drowning in the wrong opportunities, I make a six figure salary working pharma but I’m in a deep depression. I can’t get out of pharma without taking a significant pay cut.

I’m a first year that’s inching toward second year. Partners in my group say “sometimes getting thrown into the deep end is the best way to learn.” However, I feel so lost. I feel like saying the above is just an excuse for not wanting to take the time to actually teach new associates.

Everyone who I want to like me or to hangout with doesn’t respond to my texts or tells me they are too busy. This weekend I reached out to 12 people to see if they wanted to grab coffee or a drink or go for a walk. The number of people who just didn’t respond astounded me. I ended up eating dinner in bed by myself and getting brunch on my own.

The only people who reach out to me, I don’t want to hangout with. I don’t have the same interests as them and have to try really hard… cont below

Who has the best tax technology? I have only worked at EY and so my exposure is limited and trying to gage where we are at

Went from a big firm to work for a smaller firm. The people in the smaller firm are protective of their work and are good by their work too. I no longer feel chaos or stress. I am treated with respect and my schedule is more normal. I am even working more billable hours than before, but it feels like a seamless experience. I don’t work then past 5pm or anything out of the ordinary for this time of the year. I am so grateful!
