I have joined Infosys 2 weeks back. They have mapped me to a certain project but everyday I am getting calls for the skill sets that don't match to my current skill set. They are telling me to attend client interview and giving me just 1 week of time to prepare for a totally new technology.

I would express that you aren’t comfortable with that. Why not a joint account for shared expenses (rent/mortgage, utilities, groceries, etc.) while maintaining your own separate accounts?
Financially especially, I think to each their own. Figure it out together and what works for the both of you. We have a joint account and then we have separate accounts as well. I would consider how you are dealing with expenses and then what works best with that too.
I can understand that. And I can understand people being uncomfortable over it, but, hey, everyone's different. I had a problem sharing expenses with a partner years ago and I've always thought I'd never want to deal with that again, tbh.
Money is one of top 3 reasons people divorce, so I try to keep it as separate from a relationship as possible. Meaning that we don't have one account, so that we don't fight on who spent more vs who made more and only share shared experiences. The rest is our private business and there is no judgment but only advice one spendings if asked
