Folks does protiviti reimburse cell phone bill?
I interviewed with Firm A months ago and accepted a position to start this upcoming fall. Group leader called me to offer the position back in November 2020. Besides interviewing with partners at the firms, and diligent follow ups notifying them of my interest to get started, no communication has transpired since. It turns out that I accepted a better offer w/ Firm B for personal reasons and won’t be going to Firm A. What is the best way to notify Firm A? Call/email group leader? Call/email HR?

After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?
Thanks!

Bless you PMs.

I've already advised the OP after they've DMd me.
They were much more of an adult than the memers given that they're actually in that position and not living out a fantasy.
I've had other hiring managers reach out to me once they realise that person X that they plan to release an offer to already declined an offer earlier - and based on the candidates' conduct - I advise accordingly - this is a reality.
I've had candidates haggle for 0.20 on a 15 lakh package on the 3rd iteration ignoring the different pay structures - asking to match offer with unheard of companies or putting support jobs on the same level as dev jobs - at which point I'd mark them as a risk of joining and move on to others or even cancel the existing offers - because i can spend that time on someone else
Both Infy1 and Cont2 speak either from ignorance or inexperience of holding a significant managerial/ hiring position - taking offense that somebody has more power than them and seem to be misleading the OP with their wannabe cockishness.
+1
Depends on how unprofessionally you declined the offer - last round? Didn't give heads up?
Some hiring managers/ HR can hold a grudge - some done burn bridges - either way, the history will usually pop up
Ive given 2nd chances to some - but to some others, they will never ever join EY if I come to know of it
