This June I completed my 9 months at Career Level 12 and Sub Level 3 I.e, CL 12.3 at Accenture Operations. My Annual Talent Discussion and One-on-One with People Lead is complete as of last week.
I have 3 questions now :
1. When can I expect to move to 12.2 ?
2. What is the general hike I can expect ? And when it is reflected ?
3. When will be the variable pay will be paid out ?
Can anyone here help me with this performance cycle part ? I am really confused.

It’s not that unusual in my experience, if I was sure I was going to accept I always say that I’m fine giving an acceptance on the verbal offer but it’s all contingent on receiving the formal written offer that aligns with what has been discussed.

You should record them going over all the terms including benefits, comp, start date, etc.
Tell them in absence of a formal written offer, you’re recording it and get them to consent.
I’m lieu of or before? Accepting a verbal before getting a formal written offer is common. The recruiter wants to know that you want the position and that you agree to the terms before solidifying it in writing. In lieu of I would tell the recruiter that you cannot accept without a written offer before your start date.
Record everything, but dont leave current job until you have an offer in writing. You need to be able to sue if they rip the rug out from under you.
Never accept any undocumented offer
I don't see any issues. They just want to know if you're ready to roll before they bother with drafting anything up. Otherwise they have to go back and re-work everything if you're still in the works of negotiating. They want to know if you accept and will commit to it. Especially in a time where people are dumping offers left and right because something better came along.
yes, its just based on comp so when you get a written offer theres not much else to debate. its easier to discuss comp verbally rather than go back and forth writing up offers
It’s not uncommon
1) they don’t want to need to redo it later if you’re still negotiating. From their standpoint, why go through all the logistics of documenting something you won’t accept.
2) they are trying to prevent you from using their offer to get a counteroffer.
If the are requesting it, it’s definitely fair to ask about lots of details which could change your mind.
Not uncommon, but it’s like college football (or other sports). Verbal is unofficial, means nothing.
Signature on dotted line is all that matters. Ensure what you agree to is in the doc. If not, don’t sign and continue dialogue until it is.
The recruiter wants to keep their reputation clean. They do not want to have someone draft a written offer, if in the end you will not accept it. They were probably burned before.
Don't they speak with you before writing and sending you an offer letter? It is the same thing - You can always decline the written offer. They won't send you a written letter if you are not happy with the Total comp .
I accepted an undocumented offer at first. Did not include relocation… they said since I didn’t negotiate it that it was not going to be paid. I had to move cities and my family on my own dime.
