I have been at my job for 6 years. I’m upset about how our pay raise went and I’m thinking about looking for a new job. The anxiety is overwhelming when it comes to this. What kind of system do you use?

I'm developing this PC position at work (they've never had one) and I am forced to use the current ticketing system in place. The plan is to create tickets specific to tasks. I want to use a numbering system for cross referencing and basically visual organization. My Ops mgr isn't entirely on board and wants to know why we have to use a setup that works for me while those parts aren't necessarily for everyone.

Not sure how else to build something from scratch.
