Rewatching Brokeback Mountain, which came out 15 years ago (hard to believe that). Anyway, it's still an outstanding, devastating film (and love story) that I think if had been released 10 years later would have easily won best picture and best actor for Heath Ledger.

How long does it take EY GDS to hire? I've applied for some positions (bcom fresher) on June last week. For 2 positions (Core AMS- Staff & GDS.SaT_VME_BVals_Analyst) it's showing "we'd like to progress you to the next step in our recruiting process" since July 1st. Made the pivot from Big 4 to Bain and frankly underwhelmed. Seems like Bains Ops capabilities / general knowledge resources / white papers are lagging the industry quite a bit. Miles behind BCG / McKinsey as well. Literally only good for PE and nothing else.

When calculating YOE, if you are working 2 jobs, can you double count those years? For reference, I’ve been an Army Reserves officer for the last 5 years since coming off active duty, and spend about 30-40 hours per month (outside of 2-4 week annual training) on that job. So it’s not like driving Uber, it’s a high stress/very involved job. Technically I have 7 years Active Army + 5 years D + 5 Years reserves if I count them.
