Happens. I think about her every time I'm at an airport and see couples hugging when they reunite. 😞
You can think of me instead
It's very natural OP, don't be so hard on yourself
Sometimes things are really worth a second try, not very common to meet someone you are completely compatible with
I am of the other mindset...there is a reason why you broke up. For every good thing remember the bad. Helps to get over someone
Have you thought of telling her how you feel D1?
You aren't a fool, sure this happens to lots of people.
OP- Just a curious question, why do you want to text her after it's over?
Had an extremely emotional goodbye once on the way to an airport - cried the whole flight home. Now every time I'm on a plane I think of it. Likely won't go away till I fall in love again
OP - are you ready to mingle?
D3 - sounds familiar to me
By what if there wasn't a bad, what if other person just had a lot going on, ended it too early and too embarrassed to say they screwed up, so you both shafted yourselves. People don't think about this possibility enough.
Being practical is one thing but giving up on anything too easily is entirely different
Everyone knows that your life is what you make out of it and eventually you'll settle for something but what if that message could make all the difference
It sounds like you want to reach back out to your person... Do it. If she doesn't reciprocate then you know and can move on.
I wish I wasn't such an introvert would have definitely messaged her
You were completely compatible but the relationship didn't last?
OP- If you think you both still have a chance, you should text her. Don't let your introversion stop you..
OP, because it's been over a year since we broke up. And I'm over her (I think) and don't want to stir things up again.
Time fixes most things. But the soft corner never goes away. Good luck OP, you'll be fine. I still miss my Roomie / best friend / bro during school. Had an intense, debilitating and infuriating obsession with him. It's been several years now but I still think of him several times during the day.
