Don’t mean to sound stupid but would I be able to hold ETFs if I work at Deloitte (or any Big 4)? ETFs hold a lot of different companies/stocks so would there be a compliance/independence issue?

Shouldn’t be an issue. They will tell you if there is a problem for holding certain ones, but don’t divest until you know for sure

Sorry, I don’t. But you will have to dump robinhood. Should be easy to set up a fidelity account and initiate a transfer of assets and kill your robinhood acct

Going into full-time here soon and I hold a lot of ETFs. A bit worried.

Most ETFs are fine, EY can be a little restrictive but it depends on which ETFs.

At the Manager level and above, some big 4 can be pretty restrictive even regarding ETFs. You’ll need to go through the independence checklist and sell any restricted holdings

You should be all good then

Wait what? Are you in financial auditing or why would D restrict you?

I’m not! I’m in their cyber practice.

I feel so lost in my career. I have three years of B4 experience (1 year audit, 2 years risk compliance) and I absolutely hate what I do. I’m a high performer yet I have zero motivation.
