Dyson V11 Animal (Costco $579.99) or Dyson V10 Absolute (Dyson on sale for $399)? I like that V11 goes seamlessly between the hard wood floors and carpets. Have people seen better deals for V11? Is it worth it?

I have V8 & love it. Way cheaper than the newer versions.

Not sure why you would pay that much for this style of vacuum. I have a refurbished V7 bought 2 years ago for $120 and it works great. V11 doesn't look like it's worth 5x the price tbh

I have the V8 and it works great on carpet and my laminate tile (fake wood) floors. It’s definitely expensive and not essential but so convenient and I use it almost daily.

I just got V10 Absolute (refurbished) from NewEgg for $260 something. Check there.

Had the v10, it broke. Dyson replaces it w the Animal. I like the red coloring of the animal version. Save your money, go with the v10

I have the V10 and have no problem going between rugs and hardwood. The V11 is a little more powerful (I think 10%), which I didn’t think was worth the additional cost.

V10 is just fine. Plus the “absolute” comes with a few more attachments, all of which I love.

Had a v8 for years and it runs great. Bought brand new back in the day. No issues. No need for anything fancier. Never use most of the attachments anyway.
Get whatever you like. So long as it's a Dyson you can't go wrong.

The LG CordZero is better than both the Dysons and I believe it’s currently on sale at Costco. Check reviews- it’s lighter, runs longer, and has better suction and allergy ratings. Also, you don’t have to press the button the whole time your vacuuming. It has on/off, which Dyson doesn’t.

V11 is $180 off in Costco’s Black Friday ad, BTW.

When I look online I only see it for $579. And I’m a member!

I hated my Dyson and got a well rated canister vac that is much easier to use. Stains are heavy. I do love the dyson stock for quick cleans and the fan/purifier. But the animal vac didn’t do it for me.

I have a old V7 that works just fine on hardwood and carpet with our dog and 2 cats.

Are you absolutely set on a dyson? We almost bought a dyson when we moved to a bigger house and decided to try a shark and it’s amazing. We didn’t go for the most expensive, but even those are cheaper than dysons. Haven’t heard of anyone not being happy with their shark yet!

I got my V10 animal for $391 after tax from bed bath & beyond (and a $50 store card for spending over $200). It was on sale for $449 and I used their 20% off 1 item coupon on top of the sale price. I got the v10 animal in anticipation of a future pet but I have the v7 absolute (<$200 last i checked) now and it takes care of my day to day needs.

Im a RN and took on a new role working in Home Health. I chose this position because My husband & I recently moved to PA with our 2 kids (1&3), with no family available for his residency program with a hospital. If you know that life, I’m pretty much the main parent for our kids. I don’t want to work in the hospital/floor work anymore; nor do I believe the hrs are flexible enough. I need a job that’s flexible for the kids but pays >$44/hr. Maybe remote or hybrid? Please help w/ suggestions.
