Well it’s for sure not the CPA lol

like

I don’t even know what the ACCA and CA are, honestly. And I have spent my entire career career in tax.

But I have taken and passed the CPA exam though and can tell you that it’s not friendly

like

CA is a non-US CPA

CPA. It’s 4 exams - hardest part is passing them all in the short window it gives before you lose credit and have to resit. You learn how to pass/answer questions not the material. CA / ACCA are 15 exams and yes whilst open book require actual comprehension of material to answer the primarily essay questions which require citation of accounting standards / tax rules and processes/journal entries to score high marks.

Eek! Some of them were in England when I took them. Not that it helps that much cos there is so much to do in so little time. so unless you know exactly where the info is you don’t have time to waste searching.

There is no point in searching for the easiest. Each exam is for a different jurisdiction. You cannot do much with CA or ACCA in the US and in the same way cannot do much with US CPA outside the US.

like

CA is the hardest from what I’ve read about.

like

They all require considerable effort to be honest. Depends what you mean by ‘easy’.

If you have the time to study, the CPA exam is not hard. It gets tough when you’ve started working and now also need to study before/during/after work

I was wondering if the review course “CPE Self Study Course” for the CFF was enough preparation to study and pass the CFF exam. The CFE review course was enough and like if you get a question wrong it explains it well so that when it comes up in a different way in the real exam you can still get it. But when I saw the outline for the CFF material and there seems to be a lot of topics so I was wondering if the review course was sufficient considering this exam is also multiple choice. Thanks!

I work in insurance. I was working for an Allstate agent and was fired the day after my grandmothers funeral for being “unenthusiastic in our morning meeting”. Now I’m having anxiety searching for a job. I don’t think I want to sell anymore yet every single recruiter I interview with says I should, that I have a “salesperson mentality”. I’m burnt out. Has anyone else felt this way? How did handle it? Is there a different career path I can take or am I destined to sell insurance forever?

I'm at a career juncture and have decided on a career in anti-money laundering as my new path. I'm also highly interested in additional education to further my career and am eyeing graduate school. Which is best? A law degree or a master's in international relations? Those are where my interests lie. I keep reading that JDs are valued in compliance but am wondering if a different graduate program is better for my goals. I already plan to obtain the CAMS certification. Thank you!

Hello I am curious to know what people think of getting a masters degree in Data Science. I am looking at a program that is 32k which compared to others is not as expensive. Is it me or does the newer generation value more intangible things that aren’t easily measured like work-life balance, fulfillment and purpose in work. Which makes it difficult for firms because that’s not something that is easily measured. Also, this is why there is “value” in crypto, NFTs and the metaverse. It’s a clash of the generations that value tangible things like money, houses, cars and one that values time, experiences, personal online image. Thoughts?
