Sooo my nanny fell asleep holding the baby. My husband and I work from home. So, he walked in, saw them and put the baby in the crib.
Ask: Any advice on how to address this with the nanny? Also, it it a fire able offense?

Context: Nanny started full time on 1/24; baby is not quite 5 months old; we are WFH and have cameras installed that are visible (she should know they exist); first time having a nanny

I will be joining IBM next week in Bangalore ( physical onboarding ) and my hometown is in West bengal , My father is having health problems , mother won't be able to handle everything and no such person we can rely on . Also I am getting married in January . Hence If i stay in Bangalore there will be no one to take responsibility for my marriage prep also . If i convey to my ibm manager will they consider for 4months of WFH?Any documents may have to show?

Recently started a new project, everyone’s remote, handful know each other, most know no one. Few newer hires. I want to set-up some kind of laid back happy-hour w/out work but I’m failing to find a way to make that happen with 10ish people and I am trying to avoid the mandatory fun vibe. Just finishing my first week in as an audit intern and genuinely I have no idea what I'm doing or even a general idea of the audit process. The senior associate left the engagement last week so it's just me and an associate, and they don't have time to give me instruction.

Am I stupid or did the e-learns not prepare me for any of this? The training told me I'd be auditing cash but I haven't even touched a bank reconciliation.

Tax senior with CPA at small firm. Best way to get to Big 4 audit? (LA or OC) Went to non-target so little to no alumni at B4. I don’t mind the switch to a lower title since audit was always my preference and was never a fan of tax (stayed local for family).

The big four conspire to pay CPAs far less than we are worth. Partners are paid millions and you’re only making $75k. You should have been starting at twice that.
