Entering life sciences consulting next year but have far less relative knowledge on the industry. What are the best books/resources to onboard myself?

I have been in the freelance web development industry for two years and have build a solid foundation of skills and knowledge. However, I know that there is always more to learn, and I am excited to tap into the collective wisdom of this community.

What are the accounting advisory exit opportunities at the senior and manager level? I’m seeing a lot of new postings and curious to know why as well.

Can someone tell me if a HRBP III is more senior level than a HRBP I? I’ve never really dealt with those titles so I am a little confused!

Pros and cons on getting a designation? Been considering going for the CPCU designation to gain some professional development. Which designation did you go for and why?

Would you rather stay in a boring job (good pay, good wlb, boring work) for a year and get your green card or switch to a better company and let the greencard go? The boring job is also does not have a lot of work in the pipeline.

I have received an offer from a company and I'm in the second stage of interviews with another company. I am very interested to see if I could make it through for the second company. So can I accept the offer from first company and then if second one also sends an offer then let the first company know I would like to reject? Also i am on H1B visa. Presently working in EY as AM. Total YOE 6.2yrs. Got selected in Deloitte at Manager level. Please suggest the Compensation (range) that I may demand:
Present Package - 19.5L (fixed)
Variable - 10-15% (Would be pro rated to 8months)
Joining bonus - 1L
Not sure about variable payout but will have to let go off the joining bonus and hike for sure.
