Looking for some advice on the following - I want to make a pivot back to client services, specifically advisory/consulting/transaction services. I have been given a verbal offer of 145k base for a Sr. Associate role as Data Analytics Lead. The offer doesn’t come with any kind of bonuses or stocks.
I have a Masters and 5+ years of exp and my current comp is 115.5k + approx 5k bonus + ~20k in stocks (yearly refreshes) which makes my total current comp to 140k.
Is it worth taking the offer for increase in just the base?
What are my chances of negotiating into a VP level role with at-least 155k?

Strategy& fish - i’m currently recruiting for org strategy. Ive talked to associates (in the healthcare practice) and theyve mentioned that it doesnt matter whether youre in corp strategy, org strategy, etc and that you’re pretty much pooled by industry when it comes to staffing.
Can someone confirm this? Also, what do you expect the restructuring to look like?

Idk why you would come back to consulting to be a partner’s bih. Go run another department. You could go to industry & own a P&L.
Serious step back unless you dream of being a P one day

Deloitte M comp is like 180 base and 30% bonus. It's unlikely that makes financial sense.
Correct SC1. Comp range is 150-160 for SC
