Hi Fishes, Pls help,
YOE: 13 yrs
Cctc: 13 lpa
Have cleared HCL interview. Initially they offered 23 lpa (via proposed offer letter), but i requested to reconsider it for 25 lpa.
After 5 days, they sent final offer letter of 19 lpa (stating they can offer max 50% as per L4 approval).
Queries:
1. Is this normal or rare case, reducing the offer amount from what quoted initially?
2. Should I accept or negotiate?
I don't have any other offer as of now.

Hello! Anyone work at GE Healthcare?
It has been 2+ weeks since I completed the Interview & Psychometric Assessment rounds with Macquarie Group , but yet to hear anything from them. I also followed up with HR but with no response. For the record, the interview went well. Any idea if they usually take this amount of time to get back? If I got rejected, why not communicate directly?

Bain & Company Is it truly easier to get in a smaller MBB office?
Have heard a lot for different opinions on these. The logic is that it’s easier because there is a lot of supply in cities like NY, Chicago and SF, but the counter argument is that the offices with less supply are also way smaller and have a lot less demand.

If you have to ask this then you might be the kind of person who would work for Cap so go for it
EY is a much better brand + comp + equity party ship potential (a lot of money + pension) + better exit ops....
Agree with all comments above but don’t expect more than a 5% bonus at EY even as a Sr. Mg.
M1 what’s that supposed to mean? I am wondering about bonuses, intangibles, culture, promotion opportunity, 401k/pension, etc
What’s a typical annual increase for a good performer ?
What’s a typical percent increase for a good performer?
Worked for both... EY is a better brand, better people, better leaders and better pay at (very) senior levels with probably more job security. Cap may have better bonuses but this can fluctuate.
Strategic move from EY to ACN to switch consulting focus (tech to MC) and because of dollars. Still too new to ACN for a fair comparison, but I do miss “EY Nice” sometimes. 😬
