No brainer..take it. If Deloitte wants you bad, they will counter

Take it, Deloitte does this often and loses a lot of talent as a result

Deloitte hires 20k people a year. You can always come back. If you aren’t getting a promotion, it’s clear you aren’t a high priority.

like

The fact Deloitte is paying Managers (on the brink of SM) $155k base tells you all you need to know. Leave.

Why not interview with other Tier 2s, Parthenon or Strategy & and still get SM level and start at 250+

like

D2, sounds like you went to EYP, where D is equivalent since there is no M level.

You could easy exit to PWC or EY for SM, I know 4 people who did it in the past year but title change won’t mean higher role cause they both do Director to Partner

like

No EY is split path you go sm -> PP or MD. I used to be an EY SM fwiw.

Do it for the rest of us trying to get to that level. Get paid!

Take it

like

Ey doesn’t do Director

EY has ED/MD. Director is internal facing.

Take it! You can always boomerang back with those stats if you don't like the new firm in a higher role at uncle D. You're being screwed here by politics with those numbers, and your current salary isn't really reflecting the value you bring to the table.

I think it's fantastic this bowl has been made, it can be very hard to get away from US- centric consulting info. Whenever I search for consulting salary benchmarks I consistently find US consulting salaries which I believe isn't at all comparable to UK salary figures for the same role. Anyone else find the same?

Help. New job offer is a $110k plus 9% bonus. Current job countered $100k plus 15% bonus. New Job is a support role which is stepping back from management(my choice) and current job is offering role that is not management role, more of still trying to create that JD which they think I will be a very good fit. Both can provide work life balance which is initially the reason why I looked outside. Thoughts?

Spoke with my manager on what I can do/need to achieve to be included in the team bonous payout. Said they want to keep me but nothing concrete. Is the Workday Payroll Certification really worth it? Especially considering you can make a similar amount of money doing the other core HCM modules without having to learn about the Practitioner side of things in Payroll. Also, if you want to exit to an internal role, 9/10 job openings that I see do not even list payroll as a requirement but you'll always see the core modules+ Absence & TT. Please share your thoughts.
