So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

Hey all- posting about some new NFTs that are just coming out for the Dream DAO. Essentially, each minted NFT and subsequent sale helps seed fund projects for a non profit for Gen Zers called Civics Unplugged. The non profit is backed by Andrew Yang, the Rock and others. Regardless of if you like the NFTs, it’s a cool project to get involved in / read more about. https://opensea.io/collection/skywalkerz

Not EY but I think that market offering and targeted industry are key to make the decision.
As far as market offering goes what are your thoughts. So I know San Francisco is going to be tech clients which seems interesting but cost of living scares me
Depends on the practice and specialty. We audit a lot of Silicon Valley so west coast resources often find it harder to get staffed (again, practice dependent...) or find themselves flying east to work, which is a burnout factor
Advisory. I think project wise would be fine but just living and all and how nice people are is my concern
I would generally choose Dallas here for a consultant. Centrally located so can fly either East or West reasonably, lower CoL
Dallas is very banking focused. Good if you’re interested in that practice, bad if you’re not.
