EY just started my PERM - had an interview with a smaller firm and the pay increase will be 30-35%, and they pay up to 20% of base as bonus. But they only start GC process after 9 months of service - So I would be delaying my GC by min 9 months. Thoughts?

Adverse selection is a huge issue in trading. You never have perfect information and your decision won’t be perfect for the outcome. This usually means you’re too small in winners and too large in losers.

As markets crash we’re seeing something similar. People are ignoring bad outcomes when they should be working that much harder to protect previous gains and find new ideas. Lower traffic in this thread is a symptom of this phenomenon. Don’t quit just as the value of incremental effort ramps.

Hello, I recently was reached out to by an in-house recruiter at a similar but slightly different company than the one I currently work for. The recruiter provided a base range and an OTE range. The lower end of that range is what I am currently making. The higher end of that range is almost 200k more than my current comp. The role is almost identical. I wasn’t looking to move, but that higher end range would set my family up very nicely for our goals. But I am happy at my current company. Help?

I currently working as project coordinator (on-site) for 3 months 10hrs everyday with package $75k, I want to move to remote or hybrid work but I only have 8 months of experience from my previous employer and I have completed my master's in construction management in 2021. Abandoning Green Card
Has anybody experience in giving up the LPR status after leaving the US for work and residency in another country/homecountry? I come from a low tax country and wonder whether Uncle Sam will send a final tax bill or penalty fee or even make it difficult/impossible for me to abandon the GC once I will leave the US again. This is crucial for me to apply for the GC.
