It’s supposed to be easy 😂
Are firms that lazy now that they can’t even interview you in person anymore? So you get a list of questions and answer them while staring at a computer? That sounds absolutely awful! I’m certain I would never want to work for a firm that made me do that.... Sorry OP
That’s basically what all firms, including a lot of consulting firms, are doing instead of on campus interviews. They just use it to screen candidates and invite a ton in for in person office interviews

Wait are you a campus recruit right now?
Campus recruit.. they were very tough behavioral questions, I didn’t get any tell me about yourself or 5 year plan, why you chose accounting etc. It’s awkward because there’s no one on the other end. It didn’t feel personal at all because all I had was behavioral questions and didn’t get a chance to talk about myself.
That’s rough ☹️ what kinds of behavioral questions?
Behavioral questions *are* a time to talk about yourself?...
Haha yeah you got me there but in a different way
It’s part of screening for fresh candidates. HR chooses who gets to do a prerecorded video interview based on qualifications and a manager-above from the corresponding service line watches them and evaluates. A good evaluation leads to an invitation for in-person interviews at a local office. Seasoned hires do not typically go through this, depending on the market demand at the time. Many companies will eventually use this model.
