They’re all the same
Team based
“EY nice” is a thing.. not necessarily all good as it implies we don’t give direct feedback but we ARE friendly! Everyone I know from Deloitte said it was very competitive vs collaborative.

Same thing, like D1 depends on your team, office and LoS etc.
If all things are equal, Deloitte is better because it doesn’t have unlimited PTO
The grass is greener where you water it

I think EY is suffering from a drought then
I’ve worked at a bunch of midsized firms and EY. While I definitely have some issues with EY in terms of how things are set up sometimes, it always has to do with how complicated having a big firm is and I don’t fault them necessarily for it. The culture is hands down the best I’ve ever seen and the benefits are alright. We are pretty pampered to even have this level of benefits and quality of life vs the average American. The only way I’d imagine that it would be better is working at a place like Google.
Just accepted my offer at EY and this made me feel even more excited about joining!
pick EY
Deloitte benefits -
$1,000 commuting reimbursements til May
$1,000 gym/bike/health reimbursement, annually
$500 wfh gear reimbursement
It 100% depends on your team. I generally love Deloitte and my team here but know others who hate it. I also have several friends at EY. Some think it’s great. Others rushed to get out. I’d say overall, the Big 4 firms are all fairly similar with minor culture, benefit and reputation differences. But your experience will spend a lot on your specific office/team.

People depends on service line, office, and rank. City will dictate what kind of industries the office focuses on and offices in cities like New York and San Jose will likely work you even more. Tone at the top - I’m sure you can easily skim through the recent postings on fishbowl. Work life - remote as of right now, but there is a strong push to make us go back to the office (team dependent). Work almost everyday 12+ hours (guessing that’s the same at all Big 4). Benefits are so so. EY has the strictest independence guidelines by far
