McKinsey & Company Bain & Company Hello, I received an offer as a Senior Practice Manager at Bain. The profit sharing range is 0-12% in the offer letter. Is it typical to receive the midpoint (6%)? Also, what do the annual salary increases typically look like? Any insights are much appreciated. Bain & Company Boston Consulting Group McKinsey & Company

I wouldn’t go back to the agency world if I were you. Try to change teams or move to another tech company, but trust me - going back to the agency world is not the answer (I say this as someone who is in your shoes with you rn).
What is making you feel uninspired and unfulfilled? Is it the type of work? The org structure/the politics? Happy to talk thru this stuff with you
Stick to where you are. Do you’re own stuff on the side to find fulfillment and even making money. No sense going back to abusive agencies to make holding companies more money.
I would side with most of the commenters here that you should be very thoughtful before leaving. I work with agencies regularly and they often seem like they are slugging through projects they don’t care about or often asking for a job. I think you should consider agencies, but also consider other teams, other companies, etc. There are lots of options to finding creative happiness and they don’t all require you taking a pay cut or going to an agency.
I’m right there with you. But considering that agencies still are very much struggling, I don’t know that now is the time to switch back. But personal circumstances matter, i.e. children, health etc.
just to give u balance, i came back agencyside as a freelancer and ive been so much happier as a creative. granted, its also because im able to hold my head up during chaotic projects. i get paid more now too as a freelancer.
