First project-related dev role - how do I make sure to get up to speed quickly?

What are certifications/skills that are great to have when looking to make the exit from PA? I’m seeing things like Six Sigma, Power BI, CMA, etc. on job postings but am curious what all I could do to make myself look like a great candidate (qualifications wise). I have the free time to dedicate to this process and don’t mind taking tests/studying.

For anyone is M&A Tax, would you say it’s worth it to get a JD? Currently a CPA (S1). Wondering if CPA title limits my upside or exit ops.

Is it valid to expense dry cleaning if you are on a project that is a Thursday 2am arrival home flight, you are in the office Fridays before they open and out after close, and is a Sunday fly out?

What is the average amount of time to fill a role? How long in advance should a recruiter start working with a hiring manager to get their position posted? I think it depends on the industry but curious to hear if there is a national average and if that number is even realistic given the increased number of roles in the market. I was expecting a promotion to manager this year (3 years as a SC, post MBA) because I’ve led an engagement, sold some work in previous fiscal years, had high utilization, and have made an impact internally within my practice and home office.
