Hi guys,
Need help,I am joining VMware Banglore on 27th June. During interview I told them I need wfh. They said it wil be wfh this entire year. Only mistake I did was i didn't permanent wfh. I took for granted like once I join i can opt for it ( as my VMware friends had said we can opt for it)
Now the offices have started, I am scared if they call me to office , I have 14months son, not willing to leave him n go for office.
So if I ask manager to give me permanent wfh will they agree ?

If you have cash that you want to invest. Please consider Treasury Series I Savings Bond (Electronic). Interest is 7.12% right now. While it's not guaranteed that the 7.12% will remain until next year, it's still a good deal.
My SO and I just invested 20k (10k max per person even married).

That’s sort of a prerequisite for being a CD. It’s literally the D in the title. This has been all too common in my experience. Promotions based on politics or one award winning campaign instead of actual ability to do the job.
Lean on the people around you who you trust for opinions on the work. And do what you think is right. Since you’re not getting any actual feedback whatever you bring back to the CD should be defensible. Also ask for clearer feedback- repeat the things he or she is saying to you to them so they can hear how unclear they’re being.
The Peter’s Principle . People are promoted based on their success in previous jobs (being a great creative) until they reach a level at which they are no longer competent (a management role like being a CD).
I’m addition, I feel like I’m being leaned on disproportionately as a mid level to carry the role/responsibilities that they cannot
Try to connect the dots when showing the work, you said this, so we did this … draw a path back to their vague feedback and show it to them. Exactly like clients. And sometimes you just gotta watch the ship burn. It’s their necks.
