Kudos, rookie. Ignore the haters. You must have done well and are well within your rights to be proud.
Honestly don't listen to the others. The firm doesn't constantly mark to market. You've earned this - Congratulations on the bump up!
They only bumped you that much so the first years don't make more than you...
Yea, EY1: those of us who have stuck around in this game beyond adolescence understand what a good perspective looks like.
PwC is on point. You were clearly brought in low.
What was your base bro 😳
Guys ... 12.5% is the standard raise for Staff 1 to Staff 2 with a 4 rating. I'm glad you're so excited, OP. Stay un-jaded. But this is the standard raise. It's that number due to your low base and also to keep you ahead of the incoming campus hires.
12.5% increase is very good especially after joining just a year ago. To those trying to poke holes in this it is someone who happily joined a year ago at a salary level they were comfortable with and then got an additional 12.5% after a year. That is a great start to a career. Some of you in here are amazing.
I got a 300% increase my first year and a 450% increase my second year. Putting you all to shame
Great outlook on life. Stay humble.
OP = Campus Recruiter.
Congrats! Agree with M2. Perspective gets refined as you continue your career
Don't mean to upset you but look at difference in response of manager and rest 😂
Congrats OP!!!!! Make sure to celebrate every milestone. ❤️💖
OP ignore some of the assholes here. Congratulations, keep working hard and getting good reviews so that more large raises follow this one. First raise and review is a big milestone in any career so you should be proud of what you accomplished.
What practice
U went from 75 to 80+ now?
Just wait until the economy goes in the tank again. Fun times.
