Hi all
Few months back, I accepted @pwc india's offer but didn't join.
Now I was referred for @pwc US but as I was applying for the job, the portal shows previous application with status as offer accepted.
Will pwc consider me again?
Does anyone have any idea on this?
Has someone accepted the offer but didn't join and later joined again after some months?
Please let me know
Any inputs will be helpful
Thanks!

I have an offer as Technical Manager in Mindtree India . I have about 12 years of relevant experience in Java application development and mentoring and team leading. They said it is an onsite role with Mindtree Germany ( already done with client interview). My India salary is decent as per Indian market standards.Any idea how much will they offer me as Germany salary for the onsite role? Is it the same like other MNCs - TCS , Infosys, HCL,Wipro etc? Or how much I can ask? Mindtree
I have recently cleared the loop at Google for a GCP Cloud Security Consultant role in India.
YoE - 10. Not sure about the job level yet. The recruiter has just sent me an "Offer review packet" spreadsheet to fill with salary expectations.
My two best current offers are:
- Prod sec engineering lead at an Eyecare giant - 57 LPA + 3.5 L joining bonus
- Lead sec engineer at a series D profitable HR tech startup - 60 LPA + 40 L ESOP vested over 4 years
How much should I ask for at Google ?

@S2, even industry jobs pay for you to travel to their offices if they are in a different market, pretty hard to sell yourself to a potential candidate if you aren't willing to fork over the 1k or so in incremental recruiting expense
OP who are you traveling to meet, would this be a final round?
Honestly if the office isn't interested enough to spend $500 to get you out there for the day... I don't understand why you would travel on your own dime.
The recruiter said that my situation was atypical because they were going to do a couple rounds all at once, and finish everything in a day. But that since we were combining "early rounds with later rounds" and they weren't sure about me quite yet, that they typically don't pay for travel. Also presumably most people don't come from out of town to work in a new office. I personally am trying to get a job where I don't have to travel, so that's why the company is appealing to me, but this is a super cheap move on their part. I was a bit shocked on the phone and said something like okay, i guess I can try to arrange something, but was not expecting this at all. Wish I was trolling.
Yupp. It shows how much budget they have and how much they care.
I would insist on a signing bonus that covers all of your expenses by a factor of ten if you are foolish enough to actually pay for the trip to an interview out of your own pocket.
@Accenture12, it's never that serious pal.
You should reach out and say given it is customary for employers to cover travel expense for face to face interview would they be open to covering it? Tell them you are interviewing at other consulting firms and they are covering it so Slalom should be competitive that way - the HR person just might be trying to shaft you
Lol this is a joke.
Yea I think this is a troll. This doesn't add up with how slalom recruits
OP don't pay for your own travel... They should fly you out if they want you. It's not worth it otherwise.
Lol C3, cheap =/= selective
@S6 I will say that we (Boston) have had a number of people join from D.C. But every one of them has done all phone/Skype interviews. If they are a "yes" they are flown out (our dime) to meet with the GM before getting an offer. This whole thing seems fishy.
I bet they undercut you on the offer if you foolishly go along with this.
Yeah OP must be desperate to consider going to such a shitty firm that they can't even afford to pay travel expenses.
BA1 - big words from a firm that specializes in renting bodies to the governor
They did the same thing to me. Then after I booked a flight to go, they told me they were no longer pursuing me further.
Is it less than an hr drive away?
That's BS. It's on their dime.
Sounds odd....Is this for a role in a local market you don't live in?

oh hell nope
Good luck and go shit here celery
