Can folks from PwC share how exactly your all remote model works? So, an employee opting for remote works with any team across time zones ? Or across states in same time zone? Also, how do you staff on / find a project? Are there people working totally with teams outside their office, as say nobody or few in their own group/ office opted for remote model? Would that be true?

Oldie but goodie

There seems to be quite a few people in here looking to join a startup.
We're a mature aerospace impact startup (in Switzerland) pre launch for a new platform to engage and empower passangers in order to accelerate sustainability in aviation. Our product website is www.adaption.me and company website is www.optimaero .ai.
If you're interested in joining us, and you think you have skills that suit our business, you could drop me a speculative application by email at hello@OptimAero.ai.

Welcome back! To be honest, I’m still trying to find my feet 8 months after returning. With COVID, there just hasn’t been going back to pre-baby productivity with both parents working and taking care of the little one. I just try to find windows of time to crank out work - early morning / late night or during nap times. Key is to take the load off mom as much as possible with chores and giving her alone time
Life is different with a child, for better, embrace it!
If EY has an option for phased return take it. I could have phased back in after 2 months off and didn’t. Took me another 3-4 months before I got back to normal.
I came back after 3 months two weeks before COVID became a thing and we were WFH. The way I look at it, if this awful pandemic had to happen, there is no better time. With a little one you are at home most of the time anyway so we’re not missing much being out in the world. And now I am home every day...not in airports or distant cities. It’s awesome!
Getting back into it is hard...but carve out time for family. It is easier to keep working long hours in the home office because there is no defined beginning and end of the day. Make sure to shut down at a similar time daily and get back online if you need to when baby goes to bed.
