There is so much to do in London and nearby you will never get it all done in one trip.
Other things to consider:
Museum of Transportation
Houses of Parliament
Buckingham Palace (depending on timing)
Royal Mews
Museum of Natural History
Windsor Castle and St. George’s Chapel
Westminster Abbey
Observation deck at one of the skyscrapers, like the Walkie Talkie for example
Harry Potter Studios tour
So, for London there is just so much to see. I’m envious that you get to experience it all for the first time.
Museums
Wallace Collection
National Gallery
National Portrait Gallery
Apsley House
John Soame Museum
Tower of London
St. Paul’s Cathedral
Painted Hall
Restaurants

I’m less strong here as I stay at a club I belong to in London. Dean Street Townhouse is nice and well located, and has reasonable ish rooms.
Have to add Hampton Court Palace
Dishoom is a must try restaurant
