First year analyst working at big 4 advisory. I’ve done mostly transformation work with focus on treasury functions. Are there any chance of jumping to strategy consulting, if yes what would be my best option? Should I try MBB, or go straight for tier 2 companies like Strategy&, EYP, L.E.K ?

Any tips for someone trying to break into consulting in the GCC from the US? Applying blindly hasn't worked out. Head hunter recommendations would be great as well!

I've become really jaded about consulting. I find all so often you need to tell the client what they want to hear to keep their business and I feel like so much of the what I recommend doesn't actually get implemented. I'm looking to make a career switch so I can both create and execute on my strategies. A product management path seems very promising for this.

I work on a consulting team at a large software company. I’m a job hopper, around 2 years each at my first and second jobs and a little over a year at this job. I recently found out they’re shutting my team down. We’re not fired, but they’re transferring us to the core implementation team, which has a horrible reputation for malignancy, overworking, and isn’t at all what I was hired to do. How hard is it going to be to for me to find a new job? Should I just stay and try things out? What next?

I have a third round interview this Thursday, but after I sent my availability, I booked a flight for work that is causing a problem.
