AWS cloud application architect. Had an on-site interview with AWS a few days ago and just got an email saying they want to talk to me about next steps. The role is cloud application architect but I want to ask them about the senior cloud application architect role. I have all the relevant experience for that role and feel like I’d be a better fit for that senior role. How should I approach this conversation? Is this even possible? Amazon

Yes I've seen people do it with <1 years of experience at big 4 advisory / audit but it depends on a lot of things like prior GPA / university, networking, etc. Your best bet is applying to all of them-- MBB might be easier in a way because they have more spots but ideally you maximize your chances by applying to all firms.
Apply to all tbh. With <1 year of Exp, it’ll kind of be just like on campus recruiting, so things like gpa, scores, school, etc will still weigh similarly.
1. Network, get referrals and apply.
2. Work 2-4 more years and go to a top 15 business school.

I used to be in tech consulting and now in strategy. I find all strategy and no real delivery over the course of a year really bored me. 100% strategy starts to feel like wall art and vapor to me after a while. I know I made the company money but nothing is tangible. All delivery makes me feel like I’m not using my strategic capabilities enough. A nice mix helps balance me out and keeps me content in consulting. I recommend you find a niche and align with strategy vs the other way around if you’re looking long term.
Where can I get foundational resources to understand Treasury and relevant transformational projects Big 4 are doing? We are preparing a response to inquiries and need foundational resources as reference. Thanks and apologies for diversion.
