I haven’t done this before as this is my first job, but as of lately I’ve been feeling really unmotivated and stagnant in my role. I’ve been working in the same role for 1 year and 6 months now. January, I got a promotion to store manager of a Metro by T-Mobile. The job however came with a mandatory 60hrs/6 day work week. And salary at $1,000 a week. There are no benefits, PTO, or even holiday pay. I get a commission on my sales with how things are now a days, it's like an extra $400 a month. I am a Reliability Maintenance 3P contractor for Amazon. I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering on June 2022. I have an offer for an analyst position at Deloitte but due to Covid and delayed hiring, start date is pushed back to a year after graduating from a master's program. I took up work during the gap so will have one years experience as a senior engineer. I'd rather be in consulting than engineering but feel that the Masters and year of experience are not valued given that there's only a slight pay bump over bachelor's analysts. Since I am 24 now, does it make sense to wait till post MBA to join?
