Hello Fishes, I carry 5.9 yrs of exp in International inside sales & LeadGen (Domestic- 2 yrs & Europe- 3.9 yrs) working for Tata Elxsi from past 2.8 years. As I'm not getting the expected hike based on my performance, I want to change the co. Current package - 8LPA, too low compared to market standards.
* Let me know- how much should I quote if I start to give interviews * Is it a good time to switch co. Also share which companies should I approach. Thanks in advance.

Partnership is virtually impossible at Latham now regardless of practice group. For what it’s worth.
Latham has a logjam problem w/r/t new partner promotions. They promoted a lot of people in 2021 and 2022, then the market slowed, so they don’t have a ton of work for the new partners and have a lot of seniors in the pipeline. They only promoted 24 people last week, way down from prior years. Some members of the class of 2016 have already left for promotions elsewhere.
All that to say: for a lateral coming in at your level, get in line and bring a book - it’s gonna be a while
You need to be at Latham for 2 years before you can be eligible to get a “call” for partner and then presuming you get a call for partner, my understanding is that it takes at least an other year or so. This is to say that if you come in as a sixth, my guess is that that you’re looking at at least 4 years before you can be non equity partner (hard to make equity here, just like all places).

Chances of partnership at every firm are tied to business needs and market conditions which will always vary by practice group
