Hi Deloitte users: I have applied for an opening of a job role of PMO for 3 different location in India. Have applied for this role via LinkedIn and I’m a bit sceptical if my CV would cross path the app and reaches the HR. This happened to me the last time with my current organisation. Can someone from Deloitte refer me for this role? Would really appreciate. Thank you in advance 😊 Deloitte
Hello folks at Uber, I’ve been approached by a recruiter for the role of a Regional Operations Manager - Eats’ Marketplace team. Wondering how this fares against the Strategy and Planning team (which I’m guessing is the most elite Strategy team at Uber). Also, should I be looking out for any other non-engineering teams within Uber that are well known for what they do?

It depends. Of course. When I left consulting to freelance, I used an insurance agent and got on a group policy for small businesses. Cost for 2 of us was about the same as what I paid when employed, but coverage was not as good (co-pays higher, etc.) - but catastrophic events are always covered. When my son was young, I got a federal govt job and healthcare plan was fantastic - but I took a big pay cut to have a 9-5 job and drop off and pick up my son from school daily. I returned to consulting as he got older, then left again to freelance as an IC. This time my husband is in an entertainment union that offers health insurance to members. Bottom line - there’s always a way to get medical, dental, etc. I probably have more confidence because I’m in HR/human capital, so have knowledge and contacts. The best exit is where you enjoy what you do, feel valued, and are appreciated in return - both in tangible and non-monetary ways as well. Good luck!
The best exit is the one that offers medical coverage that’s comparable to the coverage you have now. That’s pretty easy to figure out, once you get a few offers.
