I took a flight the night of my transfer and flew to Hawaii for a 10 day vacation. Not advising anyone to do this obviously but just want to say that I’ve had failed transfers where I stayed home and obsessed, and then had this one where I just went about my life and didn’t obsess and was successful. I’m a big believer that once the transfers done there is little to nothing you can do change outcome and the rest is out of your hands. Easier said than done I know, but you got this. Good luck!!
I was taking progesterone still.
I didn’t really do anything special, but did eat more avocado than usual - something that I’ve kept up into my early pregnancy. In general I’ve been eating more fruits and vegetables since the time of the egg retrieval so that includes the time of the FET and present day
Rested, absolutely no lifting not even a heavy purse. Limited time spent going up and down stairs. No exercise or forced bending and ate pineapple core the day of (it maybe folklore). We transferred 2 and 1 stuck at 42.
Hi all- just got my call! I am pregnant
My HCG is 1260 at 13days- is this typically that high? Or could this mean twins? My RE said it was too early to say

Yay! Congrats! Don’t go counting babies yet, just wait until the scans
Walked for 30 min to an hour most days, acupuncture once per week, did not drink caffeine at all, prayer, went to bed early. Also, guided meditation specifically for trying to conceive - themes on trusting your body, welcoming your baby into your womb, etc. Make the occasional chill plan with a friend or family member and/or catch up over the phone. I also ended up reading some and also binge watching tv for distraction purposes.
The only thing I did was act as if I was pregnant - no strenuous exercise (including a 15 lb limit on weight lifting per my doctor) and limiting foods/caffeine that I could not eat as a pregnant woman.
In terms of obsessing, I tried to just schedule weekends with fun activities.
Some transfers worked and some did not, and I followed the same protocol throughout.
Made a list of books and movies/shows I wanted to get through before baby came. Watching/reading helped keep me distracted and framing it that way felt productive.

Congratulations! Very high number which is a great sign! My sis in law also had a very high number and just one baby. So it may be twins, but probably not if you just transferred one. Let us know! 👯♀️
transfered 1! Want 1. Scared of a twin pregnancy. So, hoping for one strong one
Update: all going well! My HCG is through the roof but within limits for singleton. Getting early ultrasound next week to confirm pregnancy and see what is going on
She just had a transfer. It’s nice to see success stories. Gives us all hope
I’m in the same boat as you - 23rd is my pregnancy test and the wait is just the worst. I’m trying to stay busy at work and focus on other small projects that I can find for myself. But, UGH. The vacation is the most brilliant idea.
You too!
Wondering whether to test today or wait it out for monday?
I have to say, it was nice to get a call from my provider telling me that I was pregnant. It felt very old-fashioned like you’d see on old TV shows, where women could only test in doctors offices and would have to wait to receive the results by phone. With that said, hearing about a negative by phone obviously wouldn’t be great, but you could then talk about next steps.
The nurse said above 100 is very good; and the threshold for 13days is ~50
