We get tons of applications of which at least 50% are totally irrelevant/unqualified and another 20-30% somewhat relevant/maybe but not quite right. Usually it comes down to 3-5 people of whom 2-3 go to the hiring manager interview stage.. Highly speculative though, far too many scenarios and variables possible so I wouldn't take this as gospel by any stretch
We typically get between 100-300 applications, screen the top 3-10, unless none are a match. Interview top 2-3.
And to be clear, there are usually fewer than 25 applications with relevant or the right level of experience, so it’s easy to weed out the ones who are not a match.
If it matters, this is for mid level account roles. (Fishbowl title is old)
