For MBB folks, what are interviews like for lateral moves? Currently S&O SM thinking about switching to MBB, and wanting to understand how the process differs than interviews during bschool.

Anyone know of orgs with an emphasis/value teaching and learning?

My friend is working for a non-profit, has lots of transferable skills, and is willing to learn…but his job applications haven’t gained much traction. I think it’s because he’s looking to move towards a more corporate org and those recruiters don’t necessarily know what to make of his past experience.

I'm a little confused on Danko - does he offer a self-study option for the coursework requirement? On his website it looks like each module has a 4-day virtual class which I wouldn't be able to attend due to working full time. Does this program also include self-study material, and the classes are just supplementary/optional? I was also looking at Dalton for self-study and Danko for test prep. Thoughts?

Maybe a dumb question for a lawyer, but is it normal to not be allowed to review an invention assignment agreement and post-employment restrictive covenant agreement at the offer letter stage? I have an informational interview with a Managing Director on Friday about a manager role.
