Had a friend get one, sounds about right. Weekend of discomfort for a lifetime of not pulling out. I kid I kid, though, no kid...🤣🤣
Haha... Thanks. Well, I guess tomorrow afternoon I'll report back. Absolutely sure it's worth it in the long run though!
Let me know..Planning to get it done as well during the Christmas holidays
It’s like going to the dentist for a cavity. Couple shots, a little discomfort, but not really to the level of pain. No big deal. The key is to get the wife and kids out of the house for the weekend so you can chill with your pills and/or vodka sodas. Planned mine with a buddy during Masters weekend. It was great and would do it again if I could.
I had one a couple years ago. That sounds right on recovery. Recovery is like having a bad cold. You're not comfortable but you can still function if you really need to.
The procedure itself though...man. It's the most uncomfortable insane amount of pressure I've felt in my whole life.
It was worth it though; once my wife went off any medicine, her sex drive increased a lot. Good luck.
Very little discomfort. I took off the morning for it and that was it.
Calling the urologist today to get it done before the end of the year.
Make sure you get the dull Swiss Army knife interposition, always for the discerning male.
I had mine done on a Friday afternoon, laid around Saturday and Sunday, and went back to work Monday. I had like a week of slight awkwardness, like the stitches poking against my underwear and causing a little bit of pain every so often. Still glad I did it.
Went for my consult on Thursday. Will problem schedule for January
I went to my consult last week!
My doc was like I do 1 a week and it’s Friday at 11
How was it covered over any of your insurances? We’ve already met our family deductible so I was thinking of doing it this year.
Did mine 13 years ago. Best decision ever. My kids were young at that time, and they liked to jump at me at crotch level. Had to watch that for a few days. I was good to go back to work by Monday, procedure done on Friday.
I did end up getting mine done on this past Friday as planned. Saturday my son jumped at me at crotch level and I took a hit. Doesn't seem like anything happened though my right ball still seems a little off. Not sure if it was from the procedure or from my son... Guess I'll keep waiting a few days.
I have a HDHP with BCBS. They told me it wasn't covered but on the ppo plans EY offered it was. Pretty frustrating but still plan on getting it done.
