For those of you that worked for a support services/facilities management company such as Crothall, Sodexo, or Ararmark: which one was the best or worst?

I worked as an environmental services manager for Crothall and Sodexo and Crothall is not somewhere I recommend. Low pay, constant pressure to do more with less, and terrible benefits. It motivated me to pivot careers.

My HR rep told me that to apply for your CPA license in MA you only need 1 year of work experience, not 2009 billable hours. Didn't sound right- can anyone confirm/deny?

How does one most effectively make the transition into management from an Individual Contributor?

I've been an individual contributor for 4 years in Tech, have 8 years of experience total. I'm finding it difficult to make the management transition despite having management experience, performing beyond expectations, and having a genuine passion for enablement and development.
