Sooo much easier. Half of the scariness for people is environment. So being in your own house you feel invincible. Also you can put notes up next to your monitor. Can’t do that irl.
I’m a little socially awkward so I find zoom difficult. I’ve found it harder to know when to jump in. I have trouble being heard when lots of people are talking since I’m more of a quiet speaker. It’s also annoying when your clients turn off their camera or multitask while you speak. I liked seeing my clients in person because it gave me more of a chance to build rapport.
One good thing about zoom though is I no longer have to maintain eye contact. I can just look at my presentation slides.

Way easier. No one is actually paying attention.
Yes, now in addition to picturing the audience naked, you can be naked too! (From the waist down) Just don’t stand up to get coffee.
So much easier!
The clients aren’t even on camera generally these days. So I don’t have to feel bad about presenting to 24 year olds.
Much easier over a zoom call for me.
As someone who grew up talking to strangers online, it's much easier. Also I can i keep my fidgeting in my lap and look focused on the screen
I definitely find it easier. Like always though, the more prepared you are, the better you’ll do.

SO much easier & I am so much more effective
I feel the group is much more receptive, too, bc it forces feedback in a way in-person rooms sometimes let things get swallowed or taken offline on the way out the door

Easier but I still suffer from performance anxiety. It’s easier to have a drink or 2 before now though...
